“The Voice of Ireland” - Tommy Fleming, returns to Australia for a national tour in support of his new album due for release in early 2017. One of the best entertainers working today, Tommy has earned a stellar reputation as a live performer.
Through constant touring of Ireland’s pub, club and festival in the early 1990’s, Tommy was heard by the legendary Phil Coulter, and within days he was guesting with Phil and his Orchestra at the Cork Opera House, the National Concert Hall in Dublin and The University Concert Hall in Limerick. Before long he was touring North America, playing to huge audiences all across the USA and Canada, culminating in two shows in the Boston Symphony Hall and the legendary Carnegie Hall, New York.
He later joined traditional group “De Danann” as lead vocalist, following in the footsteps of such living legends as Mary Black, Maura O’Connell, Dolores Keane and Paul Brady.
This collaboration introduced Tommy to a worldwide audience touring Australia, Hong Kong, China and the U.S.A. Since then Tommy has released numerous solo records, achieving multi-platinum sales and has had a hugely successful solo career.
This will be Tommy’s fourth major tour of Australia and promises to be even more successful and acclaimed than any that have gone before.
